Hiking the Ice Age National Scenic Tr...
Description
Join the Ice Age Trail Alliance and other naturalists as we hike part of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail! We will hike within the boundaries of Devil’s Lake State Park (Sauk County), located in our spectacular Driftless Region. Participants will explore a place rich in history and geological wonders. We will meet at the Roznos Meadow Parking Lot on Hwy 113, a great place to see the terminal moraine of a glacier. The hike will be approximately 3-miles long, easy/moderate and will be an out and back. Dress for the outdoors and the weather. Attendees will need a DNR park vehicle pass to park in this lot (Vehicle Admission Stickers | Wisconsin DNR). Saturday, April 16th, 2022 9 am-11:30; Roznos Meadow Parking Lot, Devil’s Lake State Park.
