Description
All are welcome to gather for creative camaraderie. Newcomers are always welcome as well as youth ages 12 and up. Each month a new project is planned with local artists introducing new materials and sharing techniques.
This is a friendly group with a wide variety of skill sets and interests- and a great group for beginners to get their feet wet with a variety of art styles!
In May, Carole Spelic will lead the group in creating summery banners.
Greet the season with a fresh 12 x 18” fabric banner! No need to have sewing skills – we’ll use the miracle of fusible webbing and old-fashioned ironing to join your upbeat floral motifs to a prepared panel. You’ll leave with a cheerful decoration you can hang in your yard or garden, on your front door or patio – or somewhere in your home! Fabric, tools, and stencils provided, but you may wish to bring large and small sharp scissors for fabric, and an iron if you have any.
