Location

Southwest Music Fest takes place on Historic 2nd Street in Platteville WI. The street is closed off so you can visit the bars and restaurants and still be able to enjoy the music throughout the day.

Southwest Music Fest

Southwest Music Festival, hosted by the Platteville Regional Chamber, kicks off Platteville's Hometown Festival Week each year in July. Live music is featured on the main stage which is placed right in the middle of our historic 2nd Street. In addition to the music, we will have raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing and pull tabs. Feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Adam Bartels Band is a 4 piece band from Platteville, WI. They play over 100 shows a year throughout the Midwest.

The impact of 90s music created a paradigm shift in pop-culture that has continued to evolve through the decades. The fusion of musical genres forged an era of heartthrob adolescents unmistakably known as Boy Bands. Paying homage to the many iconic groups we know today, The Boy Band Night brings America's only live tribute to pop sensations like The Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, New Kids On The Block, Boys II Men, One Direction, and many more! These top-tier musicians bring a musical and visual experience with note-for-note representations of all of your favorite songs accompanied by the signature choreography from the music videos we remember. Out of the arenas of the 80's comes the music that rocked your world. Wisconsin's own CHERRY PIE recreates that sound with all the extravagance of the era. Their show is BIG - with ultimate lights, fog, theatrics and explosions along with outstanding musicianship, tight-fitting clothes and, of course, plenty of hairspray. Be sure to bring your lighters because these five strapping young men provide enough energy, charisma, sex-appeal and humor to take you to another place and time. You'll dance to monster hits, rock to memorable "Big Hair" pop-metal and get cozy with that special someone to the greatest power ballads of all time.
