Southwest Music Festival, hosted by the Platteville Regional Chamber, kicks off Platteville’s Hometown Festival Week each year in July. Live music is featured on the main stage which is placed right in the middle of our historic 2nd Street. In addition to the music, we’ll have raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing and pull tabs. Feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Must be 21 to enter. Make sure you watch the schedules of the other establishments on 2nd Street as some offer music in the afternoon giving you a full day of fun!
We have an exciting line-up for 2022! From the creators of the World Famous Afrodisiacs comes the Spazmatics. All the awesome sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980’s decade we’d love to forget. Complete with skinny ties, Brill Creamed hair and horned rimmed glasses, the Spazmatics recapture all the best of the worst. Outstanding musicianship combined with creative flair and style makes for an evening of pure energy and entertainment.
Madison County is a 7-piece Country show band out of Madison, Wisconsin, that has evolved its high-energy engaging show, over the years, to stay fresh and unique. They have been voted Local Group of the Year 9 years in a row at the Q106 MCMA (Madison Country Music Awards). This group has earned the respect of some of the most talented musicians in the area, along with radio stations and fans alike.
